In chapter 14 of the text, the author discusses a number of different policies that schools can become engaged with and that can impact a budget that the athletic director develops. Examples include:

- Marketing and “giveaways”
Using the information provided in the text, along with the required studies, discuss what you feel are essential elements that should be included in a department policy for at least four of of the different topics found in the text. Include a discussion of potential benefits and possible unintended consequences that can affect an athletic department regarding these issues.
